Tartine Bakery As a resident of the South Bay, there are not many bakeries that would justify a 30 minute jaunt into the city. I would almost hop on a plane to get to Tartine. As evidenced by the line that snakes out the door from open to close, the excellence of these baked goods have not been lost on this Mission Dolores neighborhood. Stop in for breakfast, coffee time, lunch, or for no reason at all but to make an average day feel like a day in Paris.

Crawford Antiques I have purchased antiques at Crawfords for both myself and clients for the past 15 years. There is no better antique store in the bay area. They specialize in early American primitives, reconstructed pieces, and architectural antiques. They have a huge inventory that changes often, and are smart and responsive in meeting their customers needs. I have designed whole homes around their large 19th century pieces and beams. I highly recommend this wonderful resource to all bay area architects, designers and homeowners.

Campton Place Restaurant I had a great dinner at your restaurant last night. I would have preferred a bigger selection for the Dine About Town menu, but I loved the sea bass and squash soup I ordered.
